Originally a book by Stephen King. Christine was an ‘58 Plymouth. In John Carpenter’s film of the book, there were actually 23 of them. The film, released in 1983 starred Keith Gordon and John Stockwell.

KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand) is a black Pontiac Trans Am, that starred in the TV series (and films) Knight Rider, mostly driven by Michael Knight(played by David Hasselhoff).

Genevieve

Was a green vintage car, and starred in the 1953 film Genevieve, which was based around the London to Brighton veteran car rally. Also starred John Gregson, Dinah Sheridan and Kenneth More.

Herbie

Herbie is a white Volkswagen Beetle with a mind of his own, and starred in many films, including The Love Bug and Herbie Goes Bananas. Raced as number 53.

Eleanor

Was a Shelby Mustang 500, which starred in the Nicholas Cage version of Gone in Sixty Seconds. Was a Mustang Mach 3 in the original version.

The General Lee

Was a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T, starring in the Dukes of Hazzard. It was a hemi orange colour, had the number 01 on the doors, and of course a confederate flag painted on the roof, with the Georgia licence plate of CNH 320. Driven and owned by Bo and Luke Duke.
